Awards
Mike Bassett has won most South African culinary awards, including numerous Johnny Walker Top 10 awards as well as 5-star chef awards and Top Ten for Special Occasions awards from Dine Magazine. In 2007 Ginja was voted Restaurant of the Year by House & Leisure readers. He is a member of the Chaine des Rotisseurs.
